We are currently looking for a Sales manager to join and manage our Victorian team to meet or exceed the respective sales targets. This position will require you to be responsible for all aspects of enterprise and transformation sales activities in the branch. This position is a hands on role, that applies in-field knowledge of customers and sales activity for their region ( internal, competitor, vendor and market ) to achieve a sales result. This person will be required to aggregate their knowledge with general sales know how to coach, organise, challenge and direct their sales team to success and be the champion or voice of the customer in Dimension Data

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for

Profitable Growth

  • Achieve Revenue targets for Professional Services, Managed Services and Technology
  • Achieve Gross Profit targets for Professional Services, Managed Services and Technology
  • Achieve Margin targets for Technology and Services

Client Experience

  • Exceed Customer expectations
  • Build and maintain great client relationships
  • Outperform vendors and competitors in building client trust
  • Contribute to the standing and market presence of the DD brand
  • Collaborate with other business units to share and enhance customer outcomes

Operational Excellence

  • Coach and Mentor your teams to sell profitable, complex, innovative and differentiated business solutions
  • Build and Maintain Sales Pipeline/Opportunity coverage to business goals
  • Ensure pipeline quality for management, forecasting and performance monitoring purposes
  • Communicate and seek support from sales teams for Branch and National Sales initiatives
  • Deliver against strategic and tactical sales initiatives
  • Manage, measure and improve individual performance of team members
  • Prioritise, escalate and delegate to ensure delivery against sales objectives
  • Qualify usage of DD resources to maximise customer and business objectives
  • Where appropriate engage vendors in a professional way to benefit DD reputation and opportunity success/profitability
  • Set, manage, maintain and communicate timely sales targets, remuneration/KPI objectives for individuals and sales teams
  • Communicate and seek support from sales teams for Branch and National Sales initiatives

Things we look for in a candidate:

  • Demonstrated and proven track record within the IT sector
  • Extensive knowledge and background selling IT Managed Services, IT Outsourcing and IT transformation services
  • Experienced with complex sales, services and commercial deal constructs
  • Deep knowledge of the local Australian market and IT landscape
  • Exceptional sales operational abilities including pipeline management, analytical and reporting abilities
  • Previous experience leading and motivating high performing sales teams
